Enginsight on the road to success: growth, innovation and big goals for 2025

2024 marked a decisive milestone in Enginsight’s success story: strong growth, black figures with major investments and the launch of its own SIEM are taking the company into a new league. With an almost doubled workforce, first steps into internationalization and an ambitious roadmap for 2025, the security manufacturer from Jena is getting ready to become the leading provider of cybersecurity in Germany and Europe.

2024: A year of growth and success

Enginsight looks back on an impressive year in 2024: The company grew to almost 50 employees. With sales according to plan, successful growth financing and a growing partner and customer base, Enginsight has positioned itself as a stable and innovative player in the market.

“We are on a very good path,” reports Mario Jandeck proudly and adds: “Companies with investors are often share- or value-driven. We are finding a good middle ground here and creating sustainable growth instead of playing a blatant start-up game.” This is well received by investors, as the successful financing round in September 20241 proved. The fact that it is not only investors who place great trust in Enginsight is also shown by the squad of members on the newly appointed Enginsight Board, with which the management secures concentrated expertise and support from experienced entrepreneurs for strategic development.

The new board is composed of:

Board Lead:
Mario Jandeck, CEO and Co-Founder Enginsight

The highlights of 2024

2024 brought numerous milestones that underline Enginsight’s innovative strength and market relevance. – In addition to the growth criteria already mentioned, these include:

– Product innovation: The release of its own SIEM catapulted Enginsight into a new league of cybersecurity. This also makes the provider interesting for upper medium-sized companies and enterprise companies looking for a backdoor-free solution from the same jurisdiction.
– Expanded applications: The first Hacktor embedded project with a renowned German car manufacturer marked the beginning of a promising partnership and paved the way for completely new applications of the software. In this case, the use of the pentesting component “Hacktor” for standardized and reproducible safety tests in vehicles.
– Events: From the partner day in Erfurt to the first customer event in the TSG Hoffenheim stadium, Enginsight set new accents. At Europe’s largest cybersecurity trade fair, it-sa in Nuremberg, the company presented itself as a driving force in the industry with an attention-grabbing trade fair appearance.

Big plans for 2025 and beyond

The further development of Enginisight remains exciting and ambitious. “We are THE German player in the market that has the chance to become Germany’s, perhaps even Europe’s, leading cybersecurity solution,” emphasizes Max Tarantik, COO of Enginsight and names further concrete goals:
– The number of employees and sales are to be significantly increased again.
– Sales are to be expanded beyond DACH.
– The Unified Security Management Platform will be further expanded with new features such as SIEM playbooks, additional AI functionalities and IPv6 support. For further feature requests, Enginsight continues to rely heavily on the suggestions of partners and customers.
– The headquarters will remain in Jena, but the move to larger premises in the center of Jena is imminent in March 2025. No further locations are currently planned. The team has been successfully distributed throughout Germany almost from the beginning.

There are also growth plans until 2030. The concrete figures remain internal. Only this much: They are also ambitious, but well considered and designed for sustainable, organic growth.

Growth beyond the borders of DACH

After successfully establishing itself in the DACH market over the past few years, Enginsight is taking its first steps towards internationalization in 2025. The manufacturer will present itself at the Teletrust joint stand at GISEC. There, Enginsight had already made its first statement in an international context in 2024.

Max Tarantik adds: “We will open up new markets: our first foreign business in the Nordics and Benelux. This step will be exciting, challenging and trend-setting.” For accelerated growth with a focus on the EU, Enginsight secures the support of ALSO, one of the largest distributors in Europe.

Challenges and opportunities

With the transition from an agile start-up to a stable scale-up, Enginsight also faces new challenges. It is important to adapt structures and processes without losing the spirit of an innovative and dynamic company. More talented professionals need to be found who will drive growth and development with the same passion as the existing team. However, the founders are optimistic that this will also succeed as well as before. “Enginsight is more than a company – it’s a community of people who can achieve great things because they believe in each other,” Max Tarantik proudly describes his team. Who wouldn’t want to be part of that?

In the end

Enginsight is going into the year 2025 with confidence and full of energy. The company shows that it is on a solid foundation thanks to strong figures and a clear strategy and is ready to successfully master the next phase of growth – in Germany, Europe and beyond.
